  • H.264 conversion profile for YouTube. Delivers TV quality playback.

MCEbuddy rocks for YouTube! I spent the weekend trying to get reasonable video quality playback on YouTube. After a lot of experimentation (using MCEbuddy as my conversion tool), I finally came up with a winner. As some of you may know, YouTube has recently increased the video resolution they allow for...

  • Seemingly function profile for Sony Walkman Video NWZ-A720/NWZ-A820

I'm sure you gurus can make this a lot better, but it's a start. Mostly a butched up hybrid of the 5G iPod and the PSP until it worked. I don't know much about these settings, but every time I tried to deviate from these, things stopped working. I'm not sure what #IPod=yes does, but it's...

Firmware before that did **NOT** support the higher res videos natively. The default profiles in mencodr/MCEBuddy are for spec'd for the older...

  • Re: Adding new profile

gandrew and CAG are right. Here's what I've found... If you run your text editor as admin, then vista will allow you to save your changes to the file under c:\program files\Tyrell\MCEBuddy\mplayer. And MCEBuddy will see the changes. If you do NOT run the text editor as admin, then vista uses...
